What is the #JESUSTENT
We seek to share God's love with the people who attend Bonnaroo. The Jesus Tent is jointly sponsored by the Tennessee Baptist Convention and a group of local churches. The heart of our ministry is the Jesus Tent, a 40 X 60 tent erected in the midst of the camping area, open 24 hours a day during Bonnaroo. The Jesus Tent is located across the road from one of the entrances to the music festival. The tent is staffed by volunteers around the clock from  Thursday morning through Sunday afternoon. Everything we offer in the tent is free. Volunteers dispense free water, tea, lemonade, and coffee. There are free snacks: crackers, chips, cookies, pretzels.  We give away fresh fruit throughout the day. At breakfast time there are fresh donuts, oatmeal, and granola bars. We also offer travel size toothpaste, deodorant, soap, toothbrushes and other toiletry items donated by area churches.  This tent serves to provide a place for you to cool off and recharge yourself and your phone battery if needed!

There are two ways we serve in the Jesus Tent.  Volunteers can register to work on the serving line. The only requirements are a servant's heart and a friendly disposition.  Another service opportunity is visiting in the tent.  If you enjoy meeting new people and engaging in conversation this is for you.  A banner behind the serving line proclaims our mission: "Sharing the Love of God in the name of Jesus."
